The Messy Truth About Female Rlationships
I just love being on Studio 5 to share ideas on how to improve relationships. In today's segment we discussed the challenges women face in relationships with other women. Here is the segment for you to enjoy. As tricky as female relationships can be, there are also a lot of great, successful girlfriend stories. Please share your great BFF stories here. I can't wait to read your positive experiences. Doug
Today on Studio 5, I shared these four tips to help spark connection in conversation with your spouse. They may seem simple, but putting the 3 L's and a T into practice everyday will help you open your hearts to each other and enjoy conversation that is fun, relaxed, renewing, and meaningful.
Look right into your partner's eyes. Notice his/her eyecolor at least three times as you talk. This helps you let go of distractions and be really present in your conversation.
Notice how children around you laugh at the simple things that delight them. Connect with your inner child. Let go and laugh together. Enjoy what is around you.
Be attentive. Ask questions. Pay attention to what is really important to your partner. Ask yourself, "Am I really present and receiving my partner's heart?"
Never underestimate the power of touch in connection. (Your spouse deserves the same attention and affection you give your pet. LOL) Give your partner three "bear hugs" a day holding connection at least as long as he/she does.

"My behaviors will match what matters most!" This is not only my business motto, but my motto for life. Today, what is the most
important thing I can do to grow my business? Today, what is the
most important thing I can do to improve my relationships with my children? Today, what is the most important thing I can do to make a difference? Asking myself these questions helps me weed out the "interesting" but less important things that interfere with my doing the
things that really count.
In a recent survey by monster.com, 80% of the people
surveyed reported feeling "out of control" in their lives.
Do you ever feel "out of control"? Do you ever let people,
circumstances, situations take control and leave you
feeling helpless and hopeless? It happens to all of us. Here
at Go To Helm you will discover valuable tips and tools to
helping you be in control.
