Look right into your partner's eyes. Notice his/her eyecolor at least three times as you talk. This helps you let go of distractions and be really present in your conversation.
Notice how children around you laugh at the simple things that delight them. Connect with your inner child. Let go and laugh together. Enjoy what is around you.
Be attentive. Ask questions. Pay attention to what is really important to your partner. Ask yourself, "Am I really present and receiving my partner's heart?"
Never underestimate the power of touch in connection. (Your spouse deserves the same attention and affection you give your pet. LOL) Give your partner three "bear hugs" a day holding connection at least as long as he/she does.
